Good 10 " Harp - Lighting and Ceiling Fans

I needed growing light to allow some of my plants to survive the winter indoors. The CFL bulbs were too big for the 7" or 8" Harp that I replaced the old harp with this one and it works great - the swap was easy, the new bulb doesn't light and my plants are happy!

Pros
  • Two detachable pieces.
Cons
  • Shelter

Look for the Jandorf

The packaging says this is a 10" harp but it is only 9.75" from the shoulder to the bottom prong/base so it is not the seller's fault and the product itself is incorrect marked. Look out for the Jandorf brand. I mean, the Chinese can measure? Sorry if that sounds biased, but if you need 10 inches, you need 10 inches, not about 10 inches.

Pros
  • bag.
Cons
  • Available in black only.

Good quality, easy installation

I recently moved and lost the knob (which I replaced with a Westinghouse Lighting Corp 70699 I Baroque Knob, Black) and harp for one of my favorite lamps. To choose the size of the harp I used this formula: total height of the lampshade - recessed hole = harp size (length). In my case it was 12" - 1/2" = harp length 11.5" (ideal). I chose 10" because it was cheaper and easier to find on Amazon and it fits together pretty well. I am very pleased with the ease of installation of the two parts and

Provides extra height for large CFL bulbs

Purchased so I can use higher wattage Alzo CFL bulbs that were too big for my lamp. The base was not used as this would require the cartridge to be taken apart to replace the base at the bottom and I didn't know how to put it together! The top half of this harp snaps into the existing base and the lampshade fits snugly so all is well. The old lamp looks a lot brighter now!”

  • 10"

Good quality, easy installation

I recently moved across the country and lost the knob (which I replaced with a Westinghouse Lighting Corp 70699 I Baroque Finial, Black) and harp for one of my favorite lamps.
