The knee pad is additionally reinforced with splints, which completely eliminates the occurrence of lateral deviations and hyperextension of the joint. It is used during rehabilitation after injuries and operations, with instability of the knee joint, osteochondropathy and osteoarthrosis, failure of the capsular-ligamentous apparatus and hemophilic hemarthrosis, as well as for the prevention of pathological installation of the lower leg. Brace with detachable neoprene elastic base, patella opening and cutout in the popliteal area. The fixing elements are represented by two hinged stiffeners located on the sides in special pockets. The hinges of the stiffening ribs have one axis of rotation and are equipped with a stopper that limits the extension to an angle of 180°. Two additional straps create fixation points for stiffening ribs on the thigh and lower leg. Velcro fasteners are located along the edges of the base and at the ends of the straps.
