Good grip, adjustable.

Velcro runs the full length of the corset allowing the straps to be tightened and held in place. I filled the ankle with Ace first to give it extra cushioning, although there is a moderate amount in the brace. Solid support. I would buy this again. Not cheap and not flimsy.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities

Wow after 5 different braces I found 1

What is the difference when exiting the trunk? I returned 5 different braces. I found one that was easy to put on and had the support I needed. Light weight and easy to use. Big support I need. almost 3 months in the boot now my foot is happy i love it. I recommend to everyone

An orthosis that stabilizes my ankle.

This is the best brace I've ever tried. By reducing the space under the foot, the brace helps tighten the brace around the ankle. The straps are a little messy to work with, but with patience I can make them comfortable and secure. Lowering the top strap to accommodate larger calves is easy.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Yes Perfect! - Medical supplies and equipment

OMG. My 99 year old mother is in great shape down to her ankle. Searched and searched for anything that might help her get some support for her weakening ankle. Close to giving up, ready to design and build it myself, and then I found this! She really can put it on herself. She loves it so much that we immediately ordered another one. Thank you to everyone who came up with this design! Yes, you!

Very good and comfortable

I just had a hard cast removed at 9 weeks and my doctor gave me another ankle brace which is quite restrictive. I wanted a different stirrup that wasn't as restrictive and felt more comfortable than the Aircast stirrup with airbags, but still provided lateral support on both sides. It has no air cushions, just soft padding. However, it doesn't fit all shoes, so be careful. It is best if you have slippers or flip flops with you.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I don't really like it everything is fine

Strong, rubs on leg, difficult to put in shoes

This splint is very strong and supportive. The tear was chafing on my leg so I had to put 2 huge band aids or a band aid and gauze to keep it from chafing. The way the strap detaches from the sides to wrap around the foot makes it difficult to thread the synthetic into the shoe. I bought another tire and the strap runs on the outside of the plastic so it's not that hard to put in the shoe. I wore this for 2 ankle sprains and I had to wear bandages all the time or they would chafe the outside of

ORTONYX Ankle Stabilizer Brace

My left ankle tends to protrude to the side and the previous brace was too soft and a bit thick to be comfortable in shoes. This stand is perfect. The two sides are made of hard plastic or resin, and only a small strap that slides under the arch connects the two sides. Then the two detachable Velcro straps that you use to wrap it around your ankle can be positioned over the shoe. The inside of the two resin side supports was covered with a soft material, and I felt very comfortable when wearing

Leg and foot braces not easy to put on

I bought these to keep my ankle straight after a slow healing ankle sprain. I was hoping to fully recover with a stabilized ankle a few months after the injury. Since I need a stabilizer every day, this product is not suitable for me. It comes in 3 separate parts and if I had 3 hands I would be fine. But trying to assemble two parts and then adding a third with just one hand is too complicated for my daily use. In the end it was money wasted for me. I am only using the ankle stabilizer that I…
