🖤 Double Black Cashmere by Osgoode Marley Review

This case has more key hooks than most on the market. It's a bit awkward to work with compared to what I had before. Maybe I just didn't get used to using the new one.

This key case replaces my previous double cashmere key case which I have had for over 10 years. This one is even better because the keys on each side have carabiner rings on the side of the big ring (the old one had one side that hung upside down).

Most other key cases have 6-8 key rings. this is the only one with more! (12) I've been looking for a double sided replacement for the old one for a very long time and couldn't find it before. In addition, the leather is of excellent quality, very soft. This is a unique product, in fact no other product meets these specifications.

Works but sometimes keys fall off when not pushing the lock properly. I use 2 keys per clip which might be an issue. It's a little fat when full. I just wish it was 8 wide and reversible so the keys lay flatter and the key pocket was less thick. Oh this is the best I could find to replace my old key case which was reversible with 8 slots.

This was one of the few reversible (12 hooks) key cases and the price is a little higher than most people would be comfortable with. Until you look at the QUALITY of the goods. I love that there are two clasps on each side (my old one only had one) and this one fits bulky items like modern car keys and electronic key fobs. It's durable, the hooks are very high quality and hold up well without tangling. This is a must when dealing with a lot of keys.

Replaces a reversible case that is over 30 years old. Because the metal hooks are on opposite ends for each side, the case will be thinner in your bag. A lot of the new cases are stiffer and thicker to accommodate a keychain, but since I didn't have a keychain for this keychain, it worked great. It looks solidly built and attractive. The clips are spring loaded so you can easily remove the key if needed, but the springs are strong enough for a good grip. I recommend this product.

Ordered this product through Revain last year. The seller sent me the wrong key case - a smaller one. I returned it and, just to be safe, contacted the company to see if I could purchase a duplicate key case from a nearby store. They told me about a shop that sold it and I went there and ordered it. My father-in-law had a similar key case for 30 years and he finally died at Christmas. What luck, a gift for a person who literally has EVERYTHING and wants absolutely NOTHING. Some people have reported their keys falling out when a piece was turned upside down. I don't see how this is possible given the nature of the hooks. Each of the teardrop key hooks uses a unidirectional locking mechanism that makes it impossible for keys to fall off the hooks. I see where it's possible for one or more hooks to twist out of the leather case when the case isn't full of keys, but even if this happens, neither the hook nor the key will fall out.
