Very Good Overall - Key Rings & Fobs

Some people have reported their keys falling out when a piece was turned upside down. I don't see how this is possible given the nature of the hooks. Each of the teardrop key hooks uses a unidirectional locking mechanism that makes it impossible for keys to fall off the hooks. I see where it's possible for one or more hooks to twist out of the leather case when the case isn't full of keys, but even if this happens, neither the hook nor the key will fall out. The downsides of this case so far are: 1) it appears to be better left-handed, as the buttons and flaps appear to be left-hand oriented, and 2) the case is a bit bulky, partly due to the thickness of the leather being a bit thicker than the case I'm replacing and also because I have two keys on each of the hooks. I expect the case to stretch over time and use like all leather. Two latches on each side provide a very tight closure, and since there are also two parallel sets of latched holes on each side, the tightness of the closure is adjustable. I also appreciate the fact that modern design car keys have a separate removable ring instead of a hook which is much thicker than older car keys. Update: After using this case for a few days, I discovered some additional features: 1) One side of the case is oriented for the left hand and the other side is oriented for the right hand. Funny but true. 2) Having a separate ring for a modern style car key has advantages but also disadvantages. A modern car key will not fit in the case if you have other keys in it. The car key is therefore always dangling out of the case and is uncomfortable and bulky in the pocket. So I downgraded my original rating to 4 stars.
