Great travel bag!

When my daughter travels in Europe I didn't want her to risk being separated from her belongings. On the advice of a friend, this product came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. It is VERY well built and durable. Storage compartments abound, the straps are adjustable to accommodate a variety of body types, and when properly fastened, you can carry all your travel essentials while keeping your hands free. to tuck loose straps if bag is checked in airline baggage. Carry-on, convenient, goes with everything!

KEY INFO FIRST: We now ship this backpack on five different airlines (transatlantic and several European regional flights) and have never been told it's too big. It's first placed upside down on the top shelves (except for the occasional small 1x2 levels where it needs to be flipped sideways). At least 3 of these airlines had their official bag measurements (excluding the backpack) *technically* increased by an inch or two in one dimension: height. Never again a suitcase on wheels!

I LOVE this bag! We were traveling in Italy and it was my first time with a heavy backpack (I've never run/hiked/walked back). When I measured my torso I was between small and medium, I went for small and I think it worked great (I'm 5ft 2in, 135lbs and have a petite build). I traveled around Europe as easily as possible and easily managed to take the whole bag with me to check in, I even took a large bag over the head of a small 2x2 plane!
