Fantastic hydration pack

Bought for a 6ft 210lb male. Ideal for running 3-6 miles to keep water out. Small and graceful. Well built and excellent quality. Easy to fill and empty.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Only available in white

Great package, worth it!

I bought this backpack for hiking and I love it. It fits me very well, I'm 64 inches tall. I wanted something smaller than a backpack with a hydration bladder. It holds just the amount of stuff I need with plenty of pockets for a day hike. Also, it had ventilation on the back so my back didn't get wet from sweat. And he has a raincoat in case you get caught in the rain.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I have had many backpacks and this is my favorite

This is a very practical backpack with lots of storage space. The hydrator reservoir has a quick release button to disconnect the hose from the bag, making it easy to remove the bag and hose. However, the BEST feature of this backpack is the semi-rigid frame that allows for a tight mesh back panel that actually keeps the backpack off your back. Air can flow unhindered between the back and the backpack.

  • New
Cons
  • Very expensive

Perfect for true minimalists, but you might like it better 12

There's nothing wrong with the Sylva 5, but it's very cramped inside. 5 is good for water, tools, gloves and a sandwich. that's it, and this sandwich is flat in a zip from home, not Subway or Jimmy Johns. The Sylva 5's frame is exactly the same as the Sylva 12, but the 12 is far more versatile without a noticeable difference in weight, bulk or negatives. We bought both and returned 5.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Ideal for all types of riding!

Works as it should. There was a bit of an issue the first few times I put it on while holding the magnetic attachment while riding. It took some careful adjustment of the straps to get them to fit, but everything is fine now. The tank is amazing, the best I've seen and the bag can hold so many things because it's so discreet. As a couple we have men's and women's versions of this backpack and we both love them. 9/10 because the strap is not suitable for women with large breasts. However, we got

Perfect for a short hike, trail run or bike ride

The size and form factor are just right for a short 2-4 hour hike - enough water for me and my 3 year old, plus enough Room for a backpack a few snacks and light things like head torches, ponchos, first aid kit etc. It fits so well that I don't feel like carrying anything extra - partly because it suits my curvy, busty girl well Adjusts shape - and the air hammock on my back really seems to keep my back from overheating. It even has an integrated rain cover, which I really didn't expect fromโ€ฆ

Women's MTB look

Bought for my wife, a bit tight on the bodice behind the neck and shoulder area. My wife is a little big and wears 34D, yes I'm a very happy person ๐Ÿ˜. Otherwise the backpack is cool, holds a lot of water and has a lot of pockets for stuff. We both hate the new Osprey, very weak compared to the stiff back of my last Osprey Raptor. but it still holds water and keeps the water warm well. A good buy works well in terms of fit if you have a slim upper, a good fit if not maybe lightweight and mayโ€ฆ

Fast and easy perfection

The Osprey Sylva 5 is perfect for our quick and easy hikes. If all you need is hydration, some nutrition, an extra layer of clothing, or a bike repair kit, then much more than this 5 liter backpack is overkill. re will move quickly. I don't want to get bogged down with an all-day package (which always tempts me to pack more than I really need). I just want to stay hydrated on the go, run a few miles, and finish my workout. And moving fast in Sylva 5 is a pleasure. As with the women's Ospreyโ€ฆ

Fantastic bag for the most part

This is my first hydration pack and for the most part I love it. Good details first, this backpack suits me very well. I'm a slim woman and this backpack is perfect for my back. Thanks to the chest and waist straps, the weight does not fall on the shoulders and neck. The mesh frame on the back makes the pack a little heavier and I was concerned at first, but with the chest and waist straps I don't feel any extra weight on my shoulders. I love the mesh on the back. It's very breathable and myโ€ฆ
