🔌 Enhanced OTC 3500-01 Amp Probe for Mid and High-Range Review

I already have one and need a second for truck maintenance. Technicians do not need to be retrained as the same tool is used in two places. The previous one hasn't let me down yet, so I hope the second one will be the same.

I wanted to replace my original sensor shown in the ad. What they sent didn't look like it, the kit included instructions for the original block and instructions for the incoming block. I don't have anything to rate its accuracy, but it does have an auto-centering feature in constant current mode, which the original doesn't have. That's the only reason I kept it.

I have an OTC gauge and as a mechanic I need an amp clamp. My original clip, which looks almost the same, failed. I was a bit worried since my test kit was on the old site, but I use it to troubleshoot and also test loads over 600 amps. There are not many manufacturers with such a range. It works perfectly with my old OTC meter. I am very happy with the purchase and it saved me from looking for another meter and amp clamp. I believe this will work with counters that can adjust the decimal point
