Description of 🔧 Efficiently Compress Freightliner Rear Suspension Bushings with OTC 4244 Tool!

OTC's Freightliner Rear Suspension Tool features a robust 15-Ton capacity cylinder and installation/removal adapters. Removes and installs single-wrapped FAS II Airliner Freightliner Rear Suspension Bushings 'on vehicle' - no need to remove the spring assemblies to use this tool. Completes the job in a fraction of the time that traditional methods take. Saves an average of 45 minutes per bushing (4 per vehicle) on flat rate of 1.5 hours per bushing - a huge time savings. No more hammering prevents impact damage to suspension components while dramatically reducing the effort required by the technician performing the work.

Excellent Rear Suspension Tool

This bushing tool is a must-have for anyone who works on their own vehicle. As a result of my tests, I determined that it is very easy to use and produces great results. The tool is made of high-quality materials and is built to last. The only downside is that it can be a bit pricey, but the quality is worth the investment.

Pros
  • Easy to use, produces great results, made of high-quality materials.
Cons
  • Can be a bit pricey.

Excellent investment!: Brake tools

I would highly recommend this product for making rear bushings to anyone who owns or works on a Cascadia with airliner suspension! The time we started before we finished all 4 bushings was exactly one hour. Used it on 4 different trucks and got the same result every time! What has changed in the game is that it used to take us an average of 3 hours on projects that took all day to make bushings using the old heat and hammer method! All 4 trucks were in 2012 with about 700-800k miles on factory…

Pros
  • Tools and accessories
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

0tc 4244 bushing tool

cylinder has more power but bolt spacing needs to be larger to match spring deflection. It works fine with new springs, but with springs that have been in service for a while the spring coil has probably opened up due to road dust/dirt and general use and the tool will not fit. If you purchase this item be prepared to make changes like mine by making the blocks 1" wider, it fits my 2010 well. not on my 2009 both have the same airliner suspension, i have contacted the supplier and discussed this
