Description of πŸ”§ OTC 5096A Heavy Duty 'Easy Lever' Wheel Dolly for 36 to 48 Inch Wheel and Tire Assemblies

OTC's 'Easy Lever' wheel dolly gives technicians the leverage they need to easily remove or install large truck tire-and-wheel assemblies. Heavy-duty tubular steel construction ensures this dolly is capable of toting up to 300 pounds. Bent arm' handle design improves leverage - making loads easier to lift while minimizing back strain. Features onboard rollers that make stud-to-hole alignment a snap, and a spring-loaded kickstand that stabilizes the dolly for parking when not in use (not intended for use while loaded). This rugged, 26 inch wide dolly is designed to handle 36 inch to 48 inch diameter tires - perfect for large trucks.

Stress-free Body Repair with this Dolly!

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, this automotive body repair tool has proven to be a game-changer. Its ability to lift even the heaviest of wheels with ease is impressive, relieving any physical stress. The durable build ensures it will last long, and the ease of use certainly adds to the list of pros. The downside is that it's a bit pricey, but the cost is justified for any mechanic who values their physical well-being.

Pros
  • Easily lifts and moves heavy objects up to 660 pounds
Cons
  • Requires manual effort to use, which can be tiring for extended periods of time

Modification Required

Worked fine on the first tire, then when trying to fit the outer tire the footpeg broke causing the handle to bend. Then I welded on the handle and it works great. So my advice is to either get rid of the footboard, bolt and nut, or weld on the handle because there's nothing more frustrating than a tool designed to make it easier to break at the end of the job.

I HAVE THE PROBLEMS OTHERS HAVE.

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS AS SOME OTHER CUSTOMERS WITH A WHEEL CART. THE. NOW THE ROLLERS SLIDE WHEN YOU INSERT THE TIRE FORWARD. ROLLS MUST HAVE STITCHES ON BOTH SIDES TO ENSURE THEY WILL NOT FALL OUT. CHEAPER BRAND AND ALTERED FOR LESS $$$ WITH ALL THE IMPROVEMENTS THIS IS THE PERFECT TOOL. THANK YOU OTC
