Description of OTC 7480 Truck Clutch Aligning

OTC's 10-Spline Truck Clutch Alignment Tool is designed for use when installing heavy-duty single, two-plate, push/pull, manual, and self-adjusting clutches. Tool is constructed of lightweight fiberglass-reinforced nylon that won't hang up in clutch disc splines. Rugged construction will easily support the weight of heavy clutch discs. To use, loosely install clutch disc and pressure plate on flywheel then insert alignment tool through the clutch into the bearing, center disc, then tighten pressure plate to spec. 1-3/4 inch O.D. shaft, 1 inch pilot, 10 splines; similar to Ford 308-D010 (D93T-7550-A).

Efficient Clutch Alignment Tool

This clutch aligning tool made my life easier when replacing the clutch on my truck .The tool is easy to use and helps you align the clutch plate perfectly. The sturdy construction of the tool ensures that you will have it for years to come. However, the only downside is the price, it is a bit expensive compared to other clutch aligning tools in the market. Perfect fit for my truck!

THANKS to my knowledge gained in practice, i was able to install the clutch aligning tool with ease .It perfectly aligned the clutch, saving me time and money on future repairs. The durable construction and accurate measurement are big pluses. The only downside is the price, but its worth the investment for anyone who frequently works on trucks..

Bent when installing clutch

Do not use this tool on international medium duty trucks. It flexes/twitches slightly which prevents input shaft intrusion.
