Worked flawlessly on tools and equipment

It made life easier. If you've never removed a stereo before, be sure to apply outside pressure once it's installed. That was my only problem, I felt like it took me less than five minutes to figure it out. Just fuck.

OD too small for tool kits

I usually squat earlier when I've retired but don't buy from this manufacturer, the OD of the stools just isn't big enough with what you really have to fight to do anything with it, it took me 15 to 20 minutes to get the radio out. I'm still a techie, which would be unacceptable.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

So quick and easy in tool kits

Hesitant to buy this radio removal tool and will probably never need to use it again, but it couldn't be easier. It took 3 minutes to replace this stereo in my Ford Ranger. They're not universal, they only work with a specific stereotype, so be careful what you order.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Crumpled

Job Type for Toolkits

2 out of 4 worked really well on the radio release and the other 2 tools were somehow tweaked to get them to release the radio. I even swapped them on different sides of the radio to make sure there was no problem with the radio and the problem followed. They finally let me pull the radio out of the dashboard.

Pros
  • Best in Industry
Cons
  • Drives me crazy

Required flow rate

They work and that's really it. I saw a tutorial where a guy used wire hanger pieces to take his deck off, but when I couldn't get the hanger piece deck out I gave up and bought them. I wasn't thrilled that I had to spend money just to remove the stock head unit but they worked and now I have an amazing aftermarket deck that I love so I don't mind giving this 5 stars.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • There are tasks

Simple efficient tool with no good instructions

I used this tool to remove my car radio to access the clock bulb for replacement. This worked fine, but you have to move the knobs outward a bit after they're engaged before you have enough 'buy' to pull out the radio. You could make a mock device out of a wire hanger, but this tool was cheap enough and the edges were "finished". As far as I can remember, no useful instructions were included with the device.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Disposable tool: tool kits

The disassembly tool is only suitable for one purpose: radio disassembly. And it does a great job with this particular feature. Many lightbulbs on my instrument cluster (dash) burned out and it became difficult to see important gauges. Removing the radio was one of the first steps and this removal tool got the job done quickly. The whole job took a couple of hours (all the tail light bulbs and all the indicator bulbs were replaced). I'm sure this tool has eliminated possible frustrations when…
