Really great product. Now I have them indoors, but next spring-autumn I will use them outdoors. They give a nice warm glow with a realistic shimmer! Also impressed with the quality and how well they weatherproof.

Immediately after unpacking I put it back in. They look so fake and cheap. I wouldn't buy them even if they were $1, but they're WAY expensive to look cheap. I would be embarrassed if they were shown; with or without lights on.

Pleasantly bright light. I'm about to order another set! Update: they are not waterproof. When I opened it to change the battery, I found a rusted compartment. In addition, water penetrates into the main compartment of the candle and settles on the bottom. Disappointed after initially looking so nice.

Short stopped working after a few days. The other two last only a few hours before release. I've tried unplugging it for a few days to charge it but the result is the same. I gave these two stars instead of one because they look great when they work. Maybe I'll try hacking them to put new batteries in and drop the solar aspect next time.

This is a great concept and when they work they are fantastic, you just can't count on them. They work sporadically and exposure to the sun doesn't seem to be the deciding factor. I have all three in the same patio next to each other. Some days the first two and the third don't work. The next day, the third works, but the first doesn't. you have the idea This is a random error and has nothing to do with the weather. For the money you're spending, it just doesn't quite match the speed.

** Added after 6 months: These candles are not weatherproof as advertised. Water had pooled on both sides, and one had a battery so badly corroded I had to dig it out. I cleaned it and put in a new battery but the electronics inside blew. ** I ordered them and have my fingers crossed that they work. They are AWESOME and I am so impressed! They charged right away and I enjoyed them the first night. The shape looks natural and the flickering is like a real candle. They appear just before sunset…

I waited a few weeks before writing a review to make sure I like them and that they work well. They work great! They need full sun to really shine and last a long time, but if you place them in the right spot they will glow like real candles. During the day I put three candles directly in the sunlight, and when the sun goes down they light up automatically. I have one in a wrought iron lantern with filtered light during the day and it doesn't stay on as long as the other two that aren't in…
