Outset Lemonaid Citrus Multitool - Yellow, 1.875 x 1.875 x 5.75 inches Review

This is a great tool for the kitchen especially if you are like our family and you use a lot of citrus in your cooking. The only downside of this gadget is the highlight. It works well with hard-skinned fruit, but we had trouble working with older fruit that was soft. I would recommend it though. Other parts of the instrument are great and work well. I really enjoyed having the reamer and knife together. The knife is sharp, the reamer works well.

It's very handy to have a blade and grater right at hand when you need them. The blade needs a bit of sharpening, but that may be fine for some as there is a risk of handling a loose blade. I find this works great for juicing small limes and oranges. Of course you need a separate strainer, but with the money you save on this juicer compared to other juicers, you can afford a good CIA strainer that can be used for other purposes as well.

I like the concept of this tool. And the quality of the knife and peeler far exceeded my expectations. The knife is incredibly sharp and curved to stay sharp for a long time. And zester/peeler works very well too. The reamer, which was the main reason I bought it, works well, but is so sharp that it seems to rip the citrus so hard, ending up a lot of the pulp in your drink. If, like me, you use this tool to add juice to liqueur, you may not need as many citrus solids in your drink.
