Great pad with lots of adjustment options. It came with felt and foam pads. Following another suggestion in the reviews, I ordered a medium size for my 17.5" saddle and am so glad I did. It fits perfectly and would be a great way to go. Much too long.

This is beautiful :) Large fits my Thorowgood T8 Jump 17.5 saddle perfectly. The area would definitely be too small. It really is that beautiful for under $200 and swimmable. So excited to use it. I will inform you about the durability in the future.

We can't afford to spend $300, but we need a rear riser with lots of fluff. Our coach was crazy about it. Haven't washed it yet, but it's holding up great. I love extracts. We fiddled with it to get it just right. Warning, you lose a lot of sensitivity at first until you get used to it. A few months later he hadn't stomped at all and the horse wasn't sick.

I like these pads but the manufacturer's description badly needs a change in the sizing department. Because of this, I had to swap out the large one for the usual one. My saddle is 17.5 wide and the large was 4-5 inches longer than my saddle. Even if my saddle was a size 18, I would still have to swap it for a regular one. Also, the quality is amazing and I would recommend this rug to anyone!

This is a very good alternative to the $200 pads that offer padding options. The included pads come in a variety of densities, materials and thicknesses so you can truly achieve a custom fit. I bought a black lining for a dressage saddle and it looks pretty sharp. The fleece is very soft, but I can't comment on durability as I haven't had it that long. So far, the mare and I like to camp.

Can't comment on the long term quality as I've just received the pad but it appears to be well made and very attractive. I needed something to build up the back of the saddle and fix some minor fit issues as unfortunately buying a new saddle (for my new horse) is not currently an option. I think this saddle mat will suffice in the meantime. I wasn't sure about the size so I ordered one of each; As you can see from the attached photos the Reg/Med pad is true to size and will fit a 16" or 17" AP…
