🎿 Winter Helmet Cover by Ovation Review

Love it and perfect for cold mornings. Easy to apply and stays in place. My only concern is that it might get in my mouth and be annoying, but I know it helps protect me from the wind.

got this for my husband to wear under his helmet. Keeps his ears and neck warm during winter riding. He loves to! He wears it under a wool hat when he walks his dog and cleans the stable. He stays sweet and cozy and doesn't have to constantly pull his hat over his ears.

It will probably work well with a smaller helmet. I ride with an xl Tipperary helmet. It's too much, but it was so tight around my neck that I was out of breath and barely covering my neck. When not buttoned under my chin, it had an odd curvature so it rested against my ear.

I was returning home to Buffalo, NY from Phoenix and needed something to keep my ears warm while riding. This helmet cover not only keeps my ears warm, but also covers my chin, cheeks and neck so I look nice and comfortable. It's the perfect thickness and offers warmth without being bulky. I highly recommend it!

I ordered a Tough-1 Fleece helmet cover for a friend and an Ovation cover for myself. They are very similar in quality and size. Both pair well with our Tipperary Sportage Hybrid (Medium) helmets. My only complaint is that the Ovation cover has a very large white logo on the back. I guess it's not a walking billboard, but that's just me.

My daughter kept complaining that her ears and neck got cold during outdoor riding lessons. I wasn't sure what our options actually were as she had to stay in her riding helmet and then we found this helmet cover! It slips easily over her riding helmet and covers her ears and neck well, keeping her warm during class. It doesn't get in the way of her face mask either, which is important given the times we're in right now! I wasn't sure if the part that mounts under the chin would be…
