I am 5’5” and 127 lbs. I usually wear US small. I ordered a medium because my intention was to wear the sweater vest as a dress.The length of the vest alone is not long enough to be worn as a dress. I tried layering over a man’s dress shirt but I will be much more comfortable with a longer base layer and will order a white shirt dress. The vest is a bit boxy and does not hang relaxed. I really love this oversized houndstooth sweater vest. The fit is great, nice and roomy, hangs well below my bottom and is soft on the skin as well. It is loose and comfy but with the houndstooth pattern it looks dressy as well. Would be great with a pair of leggings and a long sleeved dress shirt underneath. I love everything about this cute vest, it is comfy, cute, and is going to be great for fall and winter outings when I want to dress up a bit but still be very comfortable too.

This is cute! I love the colors, it's a nice rich black and a pretty beige color. The picture shows it against my true white rug so you can get an idea of the color. It's really pretty. Also soft and well made. It's long so would work well with leggings or jeans or whatever, so it's versatile. Cute V neckline, the back is a bit longer than the front as you can see in the photo. I normally wear a small/medium in tops, jackets, sweaters etc. and I chose to size up to a large in this based on other reviews. DO NOT SIZE UP! This was very large and I would have been fine in a medium maybe even a small. Other than that, it’s an awesome sweater vest and I actually really like it! I like the pattern and overall design of this oversized vest. The only thing I don’t like is that the cut is so boxy! Also, the Walmart description says 70% acrylic and 30% cotton, but the tag on the garment says 100% acrylic. It does indeed feel like all acrylic. So I was disappointed it didn’t have any cotton in it and also the square cut. Nice everyday vest. Very soft to the touch. I machine washed gentle cool and medium heat dry and it turned out great, no wrinkles. The knit is tight and stitching good. I’m 5’3” and 138 pounds and it seems a bit overly size large but that is the style and I should have gotten a medium knowing that. I get nervous thinking it may shrink but that is not the case with this one. I’m going to order one in navy and will get a medium. This vest is perfect for shopping or the office. Recommend.
