The handle is very comfortable. More comfortable than my spaghetti server William Sonoma. But it doesn't work well. Spaghetti doesn't grab well. They fall off - as if they were expanded too much. In this respect, my William Sonoma is much better. I'm disappointed because the illustrated chefs recommended this.

I need to hand wash this tool to keep it from graying over time from enzymes in dish soap. I've been using it for years for spaghetti and to get boiled potatoes out of the pot. **** I bought a second one for my toiletries - I found it to be a great back scratcher with rounded teeth so it doesn't cut into my skin. Weird, but this is a great comb for those hard-to-reach spots on your back!

I've been using plastic cooking spoons etc for a long time because I don't want to scratch pots and pans. For young, medium (mine) and older hands, there's nothing like OXO Good Grips kitchen products.
