Very soft bristles, not suitable for heavy work

I was hoping for a strong, powerful cleaning brush. Instead, I got a soft-bristled brush that's gentle enough to use on my most delicate glassware. I need to clean the toilet bowl and that won't help at all. I've accumulated dirt and mold and this gentle, soft brush doesn't work at all. I will use it for hands, nails and feet. It will be great for these works, but nothing more.

Very hard bristles: Household items

We bought this brush to clean our tiled standing shower. The bristles are very hard and do an excellent job of cleaning tiles and joints. Unfortunately they are so strong that if you accidentally hit the seal they will break apart. Based on the picture, I thought the brush head tapers a little at the top to get into corners. The top is actually quite wide and doesn't go into the corners of the shower at all. That's probably a good thing, because the hardness of the bristles just pulls the whole

All purpose washcloth good for household items

I am moving soon and need a good cleaning brush for a variety of tasks. Having owned other OXO household products, I hoped they would make good brushes with thick, hard bristles. The brush arrived neatly packaged with the OXO tag. The curved handle makes it easy to hold the brush and hang it on the side of the bucket. So far I've used the brush to clean a very smoky chimney (attached before and after photos) and a very dirty stove (attached before and after photos) with encouraging results. I'm

This is a normal brush.

This brush turned out to be "just nothing". I was hoping to use it for deep cleaning. The bristles are not as stiff as we would like and deform quite easily. If you don't plan on putting in much effort into cleaning, this might work for you. That's a little less than I would like. It's slightly longer than my arm when I clench my fist. After trying this brush with a curved bristle surface, I found that I prefer the flat one. Curved is fine. but my apartment is better for constant cleaning ie…

OXO is well made and easy to use

I got a star from oxo for good grip in the comfort grip category. I have big hands and can't reach the handle with my fingers. it looked larger in the picture and I didn't bother to check the actual measurements if they were when I bought it. my fault. never looked. I am always satisfied with this brand in all kitchen utensils. They last a long time, they are easy to hold and hold up well, it can be a grip the size of a woman's palm. it's a full finger short of the grip by a knuckle and a half,

Easy to use, easy to use, cleans well.

Yes, yes, it's just a cleaning brush. But it's a nice weight, with just enough weight, and the handle feels comfortable in the hand. It doesn't tire your hand easily. It holds soap/suds well for cleaning. It's strong enough to clean well, but the bristles aren't so hard that they scratch the surface. OXO is very convenient and produces high quality products. My last brush failed after many years and wasn't as comfortable to hold as this OXO brush. .This material is easy to clean, does not stain

Not what I expected - smaller than the standard brush

This is smaller than I expected. It is much smaller than a traditional all-purpose cleaning brush. It can fit in the palm of my hand. I think they should label it as a standard child size. I'm a bit disappointed. I think I can use it but not for the purpose I had in mind. I could send it back but the postage doesn't seem worth the return to me. The brush seems strong. I'm not very tall and my hand is not very big. It's small, but I'm good with it. If I were a taller person (I wear size 6…

Completely disappointed.

So disappointed. I usually love OXO products but I just don't get it. I bought it to clean my shower/bathtub. I usually just use the cleaning side of the sponge, which works great for me, but it's such a waste of time messing up the sponge just to clean the bathroom. Also, they are not eternal. I had one of these scrubbers (probably not the OXO brand) a few years ago and figured I should just go out and buy another one. This one has bristles that are WAY too soft/flexible to do a thorough…

Ideal for daily maintenance of hard water showers!

We have hard water that often leaves unsightly stains in the shower. I find that this buildup is easier to prevent if I can wipe things down as soon as I've finished my shower. For the sake of simplicity, this only happens when I can keep supplies at a distance. We use a glass shower door squeegee. It hangs on a suction cup and keeps doors clean pretty well. A brush is best for floor and wall tiles, especially grouted surfaces. A quick shower after a scrub seems to keep buildup at bay. I have…
