🧻 Effortlessly Convenient: OXO Good Grips Steady Paper Towel Holder Review

This is the THIRD paper towel holder I've tried. The first was "Joseph Joseph" which I DO NOT recommend, the second required me to unscrew the cap before putting on the new roll (annoying). THAT is the easiest and works best. It's easy and you just put in a new roll without unscrewing anything.

I almost bought another model because it was delivered faster. I ventured here based on the reviews and am very glad I did. Doesn't slip, stays in place and only requires one hand. This is for my camper van and while I usually carry it to the couch when I travel, it has even driven it with no problems on a few occasions that I have forgotten.

I like that it's easy to pull and doesn't tip over. Makes life in the kitchen so much easier! The brushed steel color is nice and fits well, and the countertop area isn't as big as I feared. It looks great next to the sink but more importantly I've never seen it fall and I can easily rip off a towel whenever I want. My friend has no problem with that either, and for two clumsy people those are pathetic legs. Thank you OH!

This simple paper towel holder was just what I needed. I've tried a few others over the years that weren't as good. This one looks good and is a small size. Paper towels are easy to insert and tearing off with one hand works well. In addition, the surrounding strip prevents towels from being thrown into the air or being sucked into the kitchen extractor. I tried another OXO by hand and it didn't work at all. This one is harder to find but far better than any others I've seen or tried.

The spindle diameter is too small to grip the paper towel cardboard tube, so the paper towel roll rotates freely, so you need to hold the roll with one hand and use the other hand to tear off the sheet. This is using a well-known brand of paper towels - Brawny. The solution is to wrap the tape around the spindle to increase its diameter so there is enough resistance to prevent the reel from spinning on the spindle. This OXO towel rail is heavy and stable. The material on the bottom adheres well to the countertop. The towel rail itself is sturdy and big enough to hold a large towel roll.
