Thought I would get a higher quality product. This product drips from the spout when poured leaving a mess. The inner wall is made of glass and the outer wall is made of plastic, so there is a void between the two walls, which is not a vacuum and does not help conserve the heat from the liquid over time.

Slightly disappointing in oxo quality, coffee grounds collect in a plastic gusset at the bottom where water can't seem to flush it out, always looks dirty and keeps it coffee not warm at all. The inner carafe is glass and slides out of the plastic body for cleaning. Great for cold brew and the filter is great. I would not buy again and the price is VERY high.

I'm taking off the "easy to clean" score because it doesn't have a handle to hold it when it's taken out of the plastic container. To order this item again I will probably try others. This thing had the perfect filling that doesn't stop at me. I had the rim of the bottle, like the last one. The use of a fake is covered with a plastic protector due to the lack of cleaning, so it must always be handled without a handle.

The press itself is a great design and very well made. But surprisingly for OXO, they haven't thought through the rest of the coffee-making process. They didn't include a teaspoon for the recommended amount per cup. There are also no markings on the press to give an idea of how much water to add to an average cup of joe. The OXO name indicates a certain expectation of high quality. This French Press is really short on the side compared to my first French Press. I bought this particular French press because it can be disassembled for easy cleaning (my other press isn't the part that leaves unsightly particles in the crevices).
