Review on ☕ 32 Ounce (8 Cup) OXO Good Grips Revive French Press with Stainless Steel Case and Glass Carafe by Melody Watson

You buy a name.

The OXO name indicates a certain expectation of high quality. This French Press is really short on the side compared to my first French Press. I bought this particular French press because it can be disassembled for easy cleaning (my other press isn't the part that leaves unsightly particles in the crevices). Durable plastic and glass mug PRO. CON does not contain a screen; the lid is not tight, it slips a little; The only part of the lid that closes the spout is the "filtered" part to catch excess coffee grounds before they end up in the coffee cup. This allows the heat to escape faster than if there was a spout lock when brewing (my coffee was significantly colder after brewing with Oxo). No measuring spoon, thanks to my first french press I have a measuring spoon. (It's nice to have a special spoon that I can keep with the soil instead of having to find a tablespoon every time I use my abs). Do your homework, read the details to make sure you're getting the most bang for your buck, because unfortunately the name here doesn't reflect the same kind of quality that a lesser-known competitor offers. Spending so much money to lose is absurd in my opinion.

Pros
  • Stainless steel plunger filters coffee for delicious brewing and disassembled filter for easy cleaning
Cons
  • Negative Gift
