Waste of money and time

Installed correctly on the REC head unit in my Jeep Commander 06 for VES emulation and it did nothing. I could not select WEIGHT. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting. Nothing yet. Sent back for a refund. Garbage.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Clarity

So far so good, installed on Jeep WK

. So far so good, installed on Jeep WK, works great, clear sound. One downside is that it was turned off and stopped working. Not sure of the direct cause but this was fixed by pulling the fuses for the radio for a minute and then reinstalling them.

Pros
  • . Well built
Cons
  • . Waiting too long

Stopped working after 2 months.

I only gave this product 2 stars because it had good sound quality when it was working. After 2 months of light use it stopped working. I unplugged and plugged the device back in and it worked again, but I only had the correct channel on both inputs. I will now contact Amazon for warranty but I do not recommend this product.

  • Done

Works fine for a while.

Worked well for about three months then the radio was not recognized, I checked the installation and the installer was able to get it to play, with very loud hissing and when touched on bare metal it would play at times with less static, but still static. He suspected an internal short, hopefully Revane can find me a replacement or get my money back.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Long delivery time

06 Durango RAQ doesn't work with VES

Looks good. Spent 1/2 hour getting it working. Called PAC tech support who responded quickly. No CHP1 or 2 for AUX with SAT connection. Tech said it was defective. What happened to QC? return for a refund. It looks like the PAC iSimple could be another option, but VES will lose out on the speakers and its $70. Bought a $7 5-pin phone jack and plugged it into the wiring harness, which loses the VES speakers.

Updated 2005 Dodge Dakota Infinity system. On Bluetooth

Installation took less than 30 minutes. Almost plug and play. It was cheaper than replacing the factory Infinity system with the addition of Bluetooth via an auxiliary input. The second RCA inputs have also been retained to allow for an additional 3.5mm iPod socket. The volume is slightly lower than satellite and CD, but the sound quality is the same. channel selection. (1 and 2) Change works from the steering wheel.

Pros
  • Don't waste time
Cons
  • Having trouble

Don't waste your time

As other reviewers have said, the wiring here is shoddy at best. The left audio channel cable has moved away from the connector that goes into the back of the radio. I have just placed an order for a PIE CHRY04 AUX which unfortunately is not a Prime item but will hopefully be of excellent quality. Note that the PIE comes in two parts, depending on whether you want to use the satellite or VES connection on your stereo. Make sure you choose the right one. Using the VES connector: CHRY04-AUX Using

Pros
  • Sleek design

  • Durable

I also have an issue with the left channel cutout

It works fine out of the box but is ultimately unreliable for automotive applications. Outside. Guess what makes the wire jiggle too. Pass speed bumps, turn left and start the car. I contacted Pac Audio for a more reliable wiring harness but they didn't bother to email or call me back. I'm sure you understand that all of your Pac Audio products have the same bug. If you are a sound specialist capable of fixing your strap then this is a good way to go. If you're new and want to add an auxiliary…

Poor Quality - Auxiliary Input Adapter

This product is of poor quality. I bought it because there were so few options for my car to add an extra entrance. I bought one that just didn't work and sent it back for a refund. After trying it a second time, I bought another one. The electrical connectors are of very poor quality and will work by themselves with normal road vibrations. Finally I glued them in place with superglue. The block lasted another two months and then just died. It worked for me for about four months under normal…
