It works for 2016 frs. I tried keeping the factory rear camera and it worked great. You can cut off the rest of the wires and cut off the other end completely.

Instructions are not clear. I had a PAC RP4.2-TY11 wiring harness and tied the red wire directly to the reverse signal (purple/white) where you connect it to the aftermarket connector. It doesn't turn on automatically when reversing, or maybe because of the radio itself.
