Works great!: Car AV Install

Bought for an 07 Tahoe with Premium Bose, no sat nav, it worked! Don't forget the steering wheel switch module, which is a separate piece that plugs into OS-5.

Pros
  • Can be used if car doesn't have OnStar
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Works exactly when requested

Works correctly approximately 70% of the time. Sometimes turning up the volume actually turns it off, turning it down turns it off, etc. It's not overly impressive.

Pros
  • Retains rear seat audio controls
Cons
  • Available in black only

I just hate the fact that I had to get this to get the .

Installation is a lot easier than you think. Read the instructions. I just hate the fact that I had to buy this to replace my radio, but that's GM's fault. PAC seems to do everything it claims to do.

Pros
  • Compatible with audio system with or without factory amplifier1
Cons
  • Not sure

Doesn't do what it advertises.

Joshua Garfinkle: This product does not work as advertised in my 2013 Chevrolet Silverado pickup, connection to Pioneer App Radio 4 allowed some of the steering wheel controls but eliminated many of the key ones and eliminated some of the functionality from onstar, voice control and emergency assistance. Buyer beware

Pros
  • Saves all warning tones (including sound module)
Cons
  • No instructions

No features for 2010 Cadillac Escalade ESV. The rear LCD is not receiving a signal. The instructions mention the issue but are VERY vague on how to fix it. He refers to a purple plug that doesn't exist and suggests connecting a wire from one point of that plug to another. Ridiculous. Why not give better instructions? Floorstanding speakers don't work either. Sound comes from everything else except for the tweeters on the stands. That's important to me because it makes the system sound too rosy.

Pros
  • OnStar retention after replacing factory radio
Cons
  • Minor issues

You don't trust. Best in Automotive and Automotive Electronics

This could be a good harness/module. But I believe this item may have caused electrical problems in my 2011 Impala. I got error codes, checked them at a good shop in town and they said the car was fine. This led me to believe that this was the case. unit revolution. Among other error codes I received "Service Stabilitrak", "Service Brake Assist". For example, faults in the transmission control unit (note slippage / slightly rougher shifting). Eventually my entire dashboard/cluster went offline.

Pros
  • Replacement interface for some GM vehicles with OnStar data bus, Bose and GM LAN
Cons
  • Interchangeable
