Faulty Band Clamps Ruin Automotive Experience

These band clamps failed to secure my exhaust system, causing it to rattle and leak. The only positive was the easy installation process. However, the cons are that these clamps are poorly made and do not securely fasten the joints in the system. Don't waste your money on these unreliable clamps.

Pros
  • Securely joins exhaust pipes together
Cons
  • Requires specific clamp size for each pipe diameter

Not So Good: Hangers, Clamps & Flanges

This clamp is made from very thin metal and provides enough clamping force to properly seal pipes. Torca Accuseal clamps cost less and perform much better.

Pros
  • Hangers, Clamps & Flanges
Cons
  • Nothing

super thin I bought them to clamp my pedometer.

DO NOT BUY! Don't be fooled by the description, this is not 16ga steel, they are closer to 25ga, super thin. I bought these to attach my peysetter's long tubes to my 05 GT Mustang's H tube peysetter. The diameter is too small to clamp and seal and too long to rest on the O2 sensors. It's garbage.

Pros
  • brackets
Cons
  • weak
