I was hoping this jacket would run a size 5/6 "6" larger but compared to our other size 5 jacket this one is definitely larger "5"". Anyway, the jacket is nice, cozy, plain and my 5 year old son opens it up with no problem. It doesn't snag for anything - I guess because there isn't much extra material around the flash area Finally for the price under [.] this is a great little jacket.

What a great jacket! It's light enough for my little one, yet durable enough that I know it will keep my friend warm. My 4 year old son is 42 inches, 39 pounds, tall and skinny and the 4T fits him perfectly. I chose green and blue because green is my son's favorite color. He loved the jacket, especially because the lining is all green and the jacket suits him so well - no need to mess around with an oversized hood or sleeves that are too long - now we're ready for the snow!

Very nice and good value coat for a boy. I bought 5/6 Orange for my 4.5 year old (medium height/weight). It can be a bit small (?) so buy a size/age like I did (and you can live with it for 2 winters!). It's warm and seems well made (definitely NOT put together, NOT cheap). The hood is fixed, non-detachable, the top of the liner and hood are lined with soft fleece material to keep it snug, while the sleeves and bottom are made of slippery nylon material so kids can easily slip their arms…
