Definitely take OEM!

Does not fit my 17 Golf R! It doesn't thread all the way in, causing the fork to break. Although the part number is the same as the OEM! OEM definitely works.

These plugs are leaking. Not recommended.

Bought for my 2016 VW GTI and they don't fit... Had to install the plug twice and it leaked both times. Save time and effort and buy drain plugs direct from your local VW dealer.

Leaking and warping on my 2015 mk7 GTTI. Do not buy

I used one for an oil change and it is leaking. I changed the oil again to fix it and it was deformed so I didn't use another one. I don't trust them and don't see the point in saving a few bucks to squander all the oil I've earned. I don't buy anymore

Slow Leaking Through Rubber O Ring

I still use these and think I might have a bad batch but the rubber O rings on these plugs could be to blame as I have oil residue on the bottom noticed the oil pan, starting in the area of the oil plug, before you drain the oil pan. The leak isn't as extensive as the garage floor, but it's a leak, no question!
