I just don't understand. Put a bag in each shoe (there are 5 pairs), waited 3 days but still noticed the smell when I went to my closet. My shoes weren't too bad, but overall I could smell them in my closet. Took the bags and put them in the sun to charge, still didn't help the smell. Now I'm wondering if there really is charcoal in those bags! I can't understand why these bags have worked for others but not for me.

These little beads are great for storing luggage, shoes, gym bags etc. They are odorless. We travel a lot, so it's easy to use them in luggage and shoes, and small bags can be put anywhere in our luggage. I can tell when it's time to replace them (usually around 2 years); I put them in the sun about every month to "recharge" them. This set should not be missing in any household!

THIS IS AMAZING! My daughter plays basketball and her shoes smelled like death. I couldn't even ride in the car with her! After that drive I did a little research. Not wanting to put chemicals on the soles of her feet, I stumbled across this. I figured there wouldn't hurt to try the cheap, all-natural route. Guess what? I have a terrible habit of not wearing socks in the summer and my feet always stink. I've been waiting for weeks to write this, I wanted to see if the bags really work. clothes smell. I bought these pouches to pack in boxes to hopefully remove that smell. So far they have been in boxes since the 17th, now the 25th. Drawers can now be opened without smell getting in your face, and clothes seem fresher too. With the amount of smell we had I think they work really well. I assume that the slight residual smell will also disappear after a little longer.
