It worked great and I'm so glad I found it. My outdoor sockets have a cover that cannot be closed while something is plugged in. So I could bring the cord through the side opening of the lid. It even had an extra slot for a smart plug to connect to my smart home so now all my outdoor electronics are voice or phone controlled. I paired it with a waterproof case for extra security and it works great.

Unfortunately this didn't work for what I wanted to use it for, in a large waterproof box for an outside outlet, but rather than solving the problem it just made things tighter. .
