Worthless Desiccants, Save Your Money

These desiccants were useless in drying out my lab equipment. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I know these packets did nothing to prevent moisture damage.

It's not worth it. Even in a dry climate, they turn pink after a few days.

I used about 50 packs over a winter when it was very dry in Minnesota and the packages turned pink very quickly, even if they weren't wet. Air. Reheating in the microwave to charge is not very good. I put 10 in the microwave and it took about 3-4 minutes for them to turn a little blue again. Also make sure to separate them when reloading, otherwise they will stick together and break when trying to separate the packages. I will try another brand when using this bag.

You go into all things!

in all things! In particular I bought these for my 2 month trip to South East Africa during the rainy season to carry in my shoes for the night/bags etc as I will be living in the countryside and the humidity can be ridiculous. I live in Austin and the humidity here is ridiculous like I've never experienced anywhere in the world. My husband and I have already used this bag and put it in our belongings at home.
