Inexpensive and their quality shows it

Thae switches are inexpensive and unfortunately preform as such. While the quantity of 10 (includes screws) is nice for the price, a majority of them do not preform well. Quality varys with some working as intended while others, well under perform. Some magnets are pretty weak and as such must be placed closer than usual (to the point of touching on several). These Switches by themselves do switch on and off as intended but their build quality is questionable. While all 10 pieces worked, you…

  • Good deal for what they are. These were cheap and they work.
Cons
  • The surface mount installation may not be discreet and can affect the aesthetic of the area around the door.

Poorly made for my opinion

Magnets were not secured in switches, they were laying at the bottom of the bag. None of the switches worked consistently. Ended up tossing them in the trash. Grainger has good ones.

Cheap but work. in my review

Cheap, I liked it better than paying 10 dollars per sensor for the Honeywell brand. Definitely test them, bought 20, and found 3 bad. Easy to test with a multimeter. Feel like they'll get the job done, time will tell!

Safty is worth more then bying entertainment.

It's worth the money. Use one switch, two magnets and a six lnch wooden dole so you can have the Windows open no more then six inches. The alarm will still sound.
