Is there an option to give it zero stars for adhesion? I purchased this tape to affix shipping labels to packages - you'd think in the least tape should be able to stick copy paper to clean and dry cardboard boxes, but after less than a minute after affixing the labels, the tape started lifting up at the corners. Don't purchase this product if you are looking to stick paper to cardboard - it won't stick!

Would be ok product for the money if it worked. Our dispensers will not cut the tape without excessive force; buy that point tape is stretched out and ruined.

I dont often write reviews however, after my experience with this tape I was compelled to share.loading first roll-could not get tape initiated due to being thin and tearing each time I attempted to pull away from the tape underneath. I tried a second roll, same, third roll, same, at which time I tossed all of the rolls and reordered "Scotch/3M". There may be a less expensive brand out there but this is not it!

The price for this tape is about all that is good. It does not break or rip easily from the tape dispenser, and it does not stick well. Don't waste your money.

I have purchased this brand transparent tape several times. I initially bought it for the value compared to the name brand. However, when I compared the two, I found I liked the thinner tape better. My use is both paper and plastic packaging. I suppose your need will dictate whether you buy this brand or another but overall, I find this tape to my liking, adhesive and durability.

Same quality as name brand tape like scotch. Doesn't split down the middle, has a good stick, and it is easy to find the end of the tape. It would be even cooler if they came out with the double stick version. I used this tape to wrap presents. I love that there isn't a disposable dispenser to cut back on environmental waste.

My office bought this tape and it is without a doubt the worst tape I have ever used. Dollar store tape is better. No matter the angle you try, it is extremely hard to tear. As a heavy user, I go thru about a roll per week and it is hard on my wrists and annoying as all get-out. I quit using it and bought the three M version for myself. NOT recommended.

trying to wrap presents with this tape was very frustrating - it kept splitting off on the roll then you can not find where it starts.

This was bought for wrapping gifts & office work. The tape was very flimsy. The adhesive part was not much at all. Had to use extra tape bcuz it was very poor @ sticking! It's good thing so many came in the pack since had to use alot.

Horrible tape. There’s something wrong with it, multiple dispensers cannot cut it. It’s not sticking to my substrate. And it’s too late to return this garbage. Don’t buy!

Basic clear tape. I did have an issue at first, but the seller quickly resolved it with personal attention. I won''t buy it again..

I have these in my regular tape dispenser and I have to cut the tape or push the tape onto the blade on the dispenser for it to cut.

As others mentioned, it's hard to tear off. I used a tape dispenser with metal teeth and it's still hard to tear off. You have to angle it a certain way to detach the tape cleanly.

This tape is a great deal, but Scotch tape is so much better. I used this to tape down package labels recently, but after five minutes the tape lifts up. It may have done this because the boxes may have a little dust on the surface, but I never had this problem with Scotch brand tape. I think this may work better on clean paper. Overall, I recommend paying the extra money for Scotch brand tape.

This tape is perfectly clear and totally transparent. It is also tough as nails! If you're using this tape for building construction, you will probably love it for its structural soundness. If you, like me, are using it for basic office tasks, you will probably hate it because it will require two hands to tear a piece off the dispenser. It really is that tough! For me, I'll be spending a couple extra bucks for the name brand stuff next time.

not user friendly. Would love to return item, but I had to open it to see how bad it was, Never could get the tape started. Would not recommend purchase of this item.

I finally threw out all the rolls I bought. When you use the tape dispenser to cut off a piece of tape, it just wants to stretch rather than be cut. It stretches a lot. I bought some Scotch tape and put it into this dispenser, and it worked fine. So the problem was the tape, not the dispenser.

Clearness is great, which is what I needed. It seems to break easily in the middle of the piece you are taking off the dispenser. Otherwise, pleased - thanks

Is it a rule that every 'scotch tape' sized roll of tape has to be terrible? Well this stuff certainly adheres to it. I was hoping for a packing-tape grade quality of adhesive roll, but am sorely disappointed. One of the great qualities of packing tape is that you can adhere it securely to a smooth object (in this case some plastic packaging) and then remove it later with ease. This stuff on the other hand will tear, rip, and break if you try and pull it off - or maybe you're lucky and the tape
