I like these snaps a lot, but I managed to sew the last pair in backwards so they hardly hold at all. Duh me. That's my feedback.

Worked great. My play mom's bought a purse at a Thrift Store with a broken Snap. I replaced the whole piece and added another snap looks like a new bag.

Close to impossible to push a needle--even a sharp slender one--through the plastic and pull it out. Had to get my husband to take a 1/16" drill bit and drill holes (I was making gifts and had five sets to install). This was the 1-1/8" black magnetic snap. Would have preferred to have paid more and had holes pre-drilled.

Item is of good quality and nice looking. Shipping was fast. I will be using it on a ribbon wallet I am making. (tutorial from Sew4Home)

The only problem for me is, they are not strong enough for my project. I am sure I will be able to use them at some other time.

I had this product sewn in a hat to keep the chin straps closed tightly, and is far better then the original hook and loop type closure that came with the hat.

Since my daughter loved the backpack, I decided to try to find a solution. After reading reviews and deciding how it would fit and look on the bag, I ordered this product. It not only was easy to sew on, but it works far superior to the original closure the bag came with. It truly is a quality magnetic closure.

These are magnets. There is no snap function. And the instructions state they are to be sewn in, but they are tough as heck and no needle is going to go through that material. It is designed only for machine sewing. My photo shows the only way I could secure it to my sweater. And the magnets are not that strong even.

These are the perfect size for purse closures. I love the square shape, this isn't seen often making a more unique little accent. The edges have a little slope to them so you can easily get your finger between the pieces to pull apart. That really isn't super important since they are held securely with prongs and a washer. I highly recommend using some mid weight interfacing between the fabric and washer to give a bit more durability and stability. The price is a bit higher than others but the…

I bought this when the magnetic snap on my purse broke and I wanted to replace it. I sewed it on correctly but the magnet isn't even strong enough to hold the bag closed. It feels like there is barely any connection at all. Waste of $7.

Bought these to weigh down my outdoor curtains. Now they just fly everywhere with weights on them. I will say - they do snap, and the price is right. I'm just not sure what else you would use them for.
