Strong and so useful

I love it because the lids fit 8 oz, 16 oz and 32 oz containers. They go through the dishwasher on the top shelf. The price is reasonable, so I don't mind sending them home with guests holding leftovers, or throwing them out if I find someone hiding in the back of the fridge where lint is growing. I buy dissolvable labels to identify and date containers. I can usually keep my fridge organized and the rest of the family can spot leftover food and the like.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

So much easier! for dishes

I keep a lot of things in Mason jars and every time you need to open the lid and ring you have to deal with the lid and ring combination. I love these covers; They seem to be very durable, they haven't had any leaking issues and the price is right. The only thing I don't like is that they come with separate pads recommended for holding liquids. I thought I found lids with no seals or with built in seals because I didn't want to store them separately. But in general I recommend.

Pros
  • Best-in-Niche
Cons
  • Safety

THANK YOU SO MUCH! The Best in Tableware

You can't imagine how happy I was to find lids for my jars. I'm tired of the metal ones because they take so much care, but with this one. Rinse briefly or wash in the machine and you're done! They fit in both my large jars and my small jars; I may have to take some more before they become unavailable. Update: These babies don't live long :/ Mine are starting to lick. Half of my iced coffee was at the bottom of my bag and I only realized it because the woman on the train told me my bag was…

Good but not good for cookware

These lids are a little flimsy and appear to be made to a minimum specification. The separate O-ring is also somewhat annoying. I don't think I will buy these caps anymore. I was expecting something with a more solid construction. However, they seem serviceable and I have used them without incident. Two covers were also supplied without O-rings. It was a disappointment. To me, this indicates poor quality control, which added to my impression of the poor quality of the entire product. But hey…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • A few niggles

The thread in the lid is not well suited for mason jars.

I thought these were white plastic caps which I already have but they won't screw in properly, the threads seem to have come loose a bit. The lid is screwed on, but then sits at an angle on the glass. My old ones fit just like other tin lids. I don't know what's wrong with them but I'm sick of them on my old blue cans and some new ones with the same issues, don't want them to start well and end crooked which to me would suggest it's likely not tight as it should be. I will not buy this brand…

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • No insurance

Perfect sealing, no rust, excellent quality.

I bought these to use with both regular 8 ounce and 16 ounce mason jars. They fit perfectly regardless of the brand of can and with the gaskets installed they are completely sealed. I've used them when making yogurt in a sous vide bath, but they're great for any application that requires a tight lid. Besides the good seal, the most useful feature of these lids is that they can be washed straight away in the dishwasher along with the jars. Commercially available metal lids tend to rust after one

Pros
  • Nice construction
Cons
  • Blunt hardware
