This is a must have

I ordered these when I noticed my ice cream wasn't as hard as it should be. I put one in the freezer and found my freezer's temp to rise to the point where it should be warm and they will be fine for a day or so. The freezer was 20 years old so I bought a new one. I keep a thermometer in every fridge and freezer I own. A 12 pack is good as I had enough for family members. Useful product.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • ---

When I say that none of them have the same temperature readings, I'm not exaggerating. Before use, I lined them up on a table and the temperature difference between the lowest and the highest was almost 20 degrees. If you sit next to each other in the fridge, 2 of them differ by 5 degrees. Totally useless if you really want to know the temperature of your fridge or freezer, but if you need movie props they might work.

Cheaper by a dozen

I needed 5 and after reading several reviews saying they were not compatible I rushed to buy a dozen packs believing that this would be more than enough and I could pass off the extras as stockings for Christmas. I mean, can't everyone use a fridge thermometer? Of the 12, they all read within a few degrees of each other and more or less match our latest fridge's on-board computer, with the exception of 1. It's a little fishy, reading 6 degrees below the rest at room temperature and 3 degrees…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Basically good enough!

I bought twelve packs of these thermometers thinking some of them were useless. To my surprise, only one of them turned out to be useless, and the remaining eleven showed temperatures within 4°F of the correct room temperature (compared to a NIST traceable thermometer). It turned out that about a third was almost right, about a third was two degrees below zero, and the last third was four degrees below zero, and you didn't register any temperature changes at all, and I threw it in the trash. I…

Pros
  • Hands free
