A bold marker is much better than a fine marker

This is a great product and easy to use compared to the thinner Sharpie marker. It took me about 2 hours to do all four wheels in three shifts. Driven through rain and car washes and the paint is still holding up very well. You'll still need a finer marker to get into those hard-to-reach places, but it's difficult to get the paint to flow properly. Many compliments for my tires

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Works well - requires more than one coat for full coverage

The real breather cap is screwed into a steel channel and I got tired of taking it off, spraying it and reinstalling it. I've used black Sharpie oil paint pencils with good results in the past, so I decided to try the white ones. They worked very well even when applied vertically. I keep a paper plate handy to keep refilling the pen and catching drips because sometimes the pen can release too much paint at…

NICE! STRONG! THE BEST MARKER for color!

I was planning on making more letters but didn't want to finish the middle work before dark. Also, I wanted this review to be accurate. I made the word "hawk" in 3 layers (fill in letters) and 5 layers around the edges. Then I started doing "a/t" and the marker got sloppy! It started dripping like crazy, but I knew it was almost over. Definitely get 3 packs. 2 for every 4 tires for each letter and thick layer and 1 for patching. I've heard this oil based oil lasts over a year with weather…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as the other options
