I used to like it though.

I used to like it. Then two things happened. First they changed the smell. I really liked the smell of cocoa. Then I took a closer look at the ingredient list. I don't know if this is a new list of ingredients, but the product contains petroleum jelly, propylene glycol and mineral oil as ingredient #5, 6, 7 - all of which are harmful to the skin. Plus a ton of chemicals further down the list. I won't be using it anymore because of the ingredients, but I also notice that the new formula doesn't…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive

I bought this on April 29th, 5 months pregnant with my first child and have been using it daily on my chest, stomach, clothes, thighs and buttocks ever since. Before that, I used Bio-Oil daily throughout my pregnancy. Today is June 12th and Palmer's stretch mark bottle is empty - enough for 6 weeks. A little doesn't matter much. And sadly, horrible stretch marks appeared last week at 28 weeks pregnant. Just as I entered my 3rd trimester. And my tummy and buttocks are still itchy like crazy - a…

Not something you can buy in a store

This is my third pregnancy and I'm living overseas for this pregnancy so I had to order it online instead of just walking to Walmart like I usually do . During the last 2 pregnancies when I bought this from Walmart I liked the lotion. It smelled nice, was thick, and was easy to massage into my skin. This particular bottle I received from Revain is different. It has a rather unpleasant smell and a rather liquid consistency and is difficult to massage into the skin. I'm disappointed and don't…

Smells like plastic, second purchase

Do not buy! That's not the right lotion! Terrible, smells like rubber or plastic. If you put lotion on your tummy and let it dry, it will begin to peel off like old skin. super rough! To top it off, there are no returns. I was stupid enough to buy another one thinking it was just old and I was wrong. Throw two full bottles in the trash! waste of money! . Very disappointed

Great buy Beauty and personal care

I have been using this product for 5 months now. I am almost 6 months pregnant. My skin looks so firm and glowing. I used it every day and even started using it all over my body. My skin no longer feels stretched or too tight.

  • Great for outdoor activities

AMAZING Maternity - Skin Care

To all my pregnant women. Listen. I have used Earth Mama Belly Oil from 12 weeks to 35 weeks. It's great, but it's nothing compared to this lotion. I started getting stretch marks at 31-34 weeks. Earth Mama Lotion moisturizes, but nothing more. If you want to get rid of stretch marks, USE PALMERS COCOA BUTTER LOTION! I love this material way more than anything I have used before. You can apply it in the morning and when you take a bath in the evening you can still feel the lotion on your…

Itching and knots are good for pregnant women

The lotion doesn't really absorb. Instead, it forms uncomfortable lumps, like glue being rubbed onto the skin rather than lotion. Pooh. And it made me itchy. Back to using regular lotion for me. In addition, the product has a different label than the one shown. It's green as others have mentioned.

Pros
  • New in my collection
Cons
  • Little things

This lotion is amazing. I heard there isn't much you can do.

This lotion is amazing. I've heard there's little you can do about stretch marks - you're either genetically predisposed to them or you're not. I have stretch marks from previous weight gain/loss so when I got pregnant I assumed my tummy would be covered. I used it every day and didn't get any stretch marks until the last week of my pregnancy. I had 2 little ones on my stomach but to be honest it was my fault because the last week of my pregnancy was also Christmas week and I was eating around…
