Panaracer RiBMo Folding Tire: Durability and Convenience Combined Review

Interesting shape that lays flat on the pavement (for faster roll?). A bit difficult but a good option for paved green trails on a mountain bike.

Although they were the same specs as my old tires I was unable to fit them onto a rim without damaging the bead. I would avoid it. I got a Schwalbe Marathon instead, which worked great.

Only ridden 200 km so far, nothing bad happened so far. This is the 26 x 1.25 version used on the tandem front wheel with an overall weight of about 260# and inflated at about 67psi. has more tread than we really need, I would have preferred slick, but real slick is hard to come by these days.

Due to Covid 19 I have been waiting a long time for two of these tires to replace my front and rear tires. They are well made and not round. There is no hesitation. They fold up and are easy to attach. Excellent quality. They ride high and ride great on tarmac. This is a fast tire. I will definitely buy again.

The tire does not hold even after using two fitting machines. I'd have to crack the bead (and ruin the tire) if I ever had to replace the tube. Didn't even try to put it on when the two tire levers couldn't. The bead is so tight that it cannot be installed.

I'm a messenger from New York and I always rock them. Good grip and rolling resistance, but still a bit slippery. They last forever and I often only change them because the tread wears out after months of driving up to 300 miles a week. Don't throw big bucks on alligator skins when they're cheaper and (I think) way better. Probably the best I've ever driven, the best for the money.

Got this in size 650x38b/27.5x1.5". Seems pretty good at first glance. Tire rolls well and has a nice thick anti-flat belt, without sacrificing road feel or handling.feels a tad narrower and a tad taller than the gravel I switched from but a fairly fat tire that will help me absorb the bumps from heavy potholes and rough pavement , will update my review after a long drive.

I've been riding this for about 6 months now. Use it for commuting or short city trips (less than 10 miles), so I can't comment on off-road or long-haul use. I've had no issues with flat tires or damage from general road hazards - handles potholes, regular road debris and the occasional broken glass. Holds up well on wet roads. Very easy to mount on the bike and the foldable design makes it compact when you need to carry it as a spare.

I like it better than the $60 Michelin comparing apple to apple for the coolness a bike tire can have. This tire is made of all the right stuff - it feels solid, basic, expensive, reliable, not entirely made in China, high quality and reminds you it's 2020. Do not understand?
