Not the fastest at f2.5, but still good blur, although not very good for close-ups - it's a wide-angle, after all. I am very happy with the results. from this lens. Newer versions are bigger and more expensive, and the results are no better - get one while you can be careful - if you ever update the firmware on your camera, use the native lens.
