It won't last long enough to justify its price.

The razor works fine when it works but two of my razors have died so far. The first lasted about 5 months. I shave about 15 minutes a day every day and I've really enjoyed it. However, one day it just stopped working. It would not turn on, charge, or start the cleaning process. I called support and they asked me to send it in for service. It was nice to only ship the razor and I was pleasantly surprised to receive what appeared to be brand new packaging instead of a 'solid' razor. However, the…

The ES-LV65-S is without a doubt the best electric shaver.

The ES-LV65-S is without a doubt the best electric shaver in my opinion. That's how it should be given the price. The shave is smoother than any other razor I have used and I collect electric razors and have tried many models from all major brands. I have several Norelco, Braun and Panasonics. I also recently bought a Panasonic ES-LV61 A which is an almost identical 5 blade shaver except without the Shave Sensor Technology which I found pretty much useless, at least with my rather weak beard…

  • LCD battery indicator: The shaver's 10-level LCD shows the battery status at a glance; Rechargeable, portable and travel-friendly

Panasonic ES-LV95-S vs. Braun 9095cc

I've recently started using the ES-LV95 after a quick detour with the Braun 9095cc, both flagship shavers from Panasonic and Braun; ES-LV95 replaces my old ES-LV81. This review is a comparison of the (relatively) new Panasonic to the latest Braun, but when you compare this new Panasonic to the old, the ES-LV95 improves performance and usability in every way compared to the earlier Panasonic, so I won't quote . again the venerable ES-LV81. Compared to Braun, the new Panasonic is lighter (7oz vs.

Pros
  • High Performance Linear Drive Motor: This Panasonic shaver features a linear motor that delivers 14,000 beats per minute (70,000 strokes per minute) and maintains peak power to the end of each cycle. Battery charge

Tight, aggressive razor; just not enough convenience

Panasonic ES-LV95-S is a 3.5 star electric shaver. My previous electric shaver was a Braun 760cc which I bought 8 years ago. I was mostly fine with that, but I wanted something newer and maybe "better". Well I'd say the ES-LV95 is a decent replacement, but it's not much better than my old Braun. Advantages: - Fits comfortably in the hand despite the large shaving head. - Quieter than brown. - Great shave. The head quickly tackles stubble on the cheeks, neck and along the jaw - Provides a close…

Pros
  • Electric Wet/Dry Shaver and Trimmer 2-in-1: With the built-in pop-up trimmer you can smooth out moustache, beard and sideburns; The waterproof wet/dry razor lets you shave comfortably in or out of the shower. Power supply: AC 100-240V (automatic international voltage conversion)
Cons
  • Very expensive

that might have been a little better but also a lot louder

I used to use the Norelco rotary type and never thought about it. I've been experimenting with Braun for the past ten years, it might have been a little better, but it was also a lot louder. The last razor was another Norelco (9200) and being new it certainly worked great until it broke. I don't know what changed with them, maybe it started when Philips bought them, but whatever the reason, the quality of their blades went away after about a month. Of course it was too late to go back, so I…
