I was looking for a beard trimmer that was waterproof and rechargeable. For the money, this device exceeded all my needs. The trimmer is hard to use, I think if you swipe up with the upside down razor it goes down to the bottom cut setting more than I would like.

Was looking to replace my Panasonic ER-GB40 with this product (ER-GB80-S) but this product is terribly inferior to the ER-GB40 which is at Target is only $39.99 and is $20 cheaper. Without the guard, the GB40 cuts more accurately, scratches less and cuts better (pulls significantly less hair).

but if you're like me you've always saved on the trimmer, then you will be very satisfied with it. This is the fifth and hopefully last trimmer I will be buying. The previous four were the cheapest you could find at Marshall's or TJMAX. The last two I bought were Remington rechargeable batteries which barely lasted 20 minutes and then I bought a Gillette styler. You have to go over and over again and I have very coarse hair. I spent more with four together than with Panasonic. I used it 3 times

. So why spend three times more on this trimmer? 1. The battery life is amazing as it is a lithium-ion battery that can last a full week on a single charge, making it ideal for travel. This is currently Panasonic's only lithium-ion beard trimmer, the others are older and cheaper. Take a step towards something better! 2.
