Great lens for photography and photography

Works great, light weight compared to the Olympus 7-14mm 2.8 version. Focusing was quick, even in low light, with little chromatic aberration.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Hard to say

Awesome lens: Camera lenses

I do a lot of interior photography for real estate agents and this lens is my business. Relatively compact and superbly sharp, depth of field is never an issue with such a wide-angle lens. It was also a very good price so overall a brilliant kit.

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

This lens is amazing. Distortion is almost 0 and vignetting is 0

Clarity. This lens is amazing. Almost 0 distortion and 0 vignetting. The autofocus on my LUMIX g7 is fast and precise. I photograph a lot of real estate and use this lens exclusively for that.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • Useless features

Like results, good for camera lenses

This is my third sample of this lens. It's great when it comes to UWA. Combine it with the Panasonic m43 body and chromatic aberrations are automatically hidden from radar so you never notice them. Another story involving Olympus falls is well documented. I have both a Panasonic GX7 and an Olympus EM1 and use them 99% with the GX7. The lens is very compact. I love the results!

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Speed

The best lens I've ever had.

My new favorite lens. This is an exceptional piece of glass. Super sharp, slight distortion when straightened (with a slight Lightroom sting). It's expensive but worth it. My only downsides are that it comes with a very poor pad bag and it can't use filters. The large front element seems to be very susceptible to damage. I think I have to be extra careful with him. Update: I switched to an Olympus body thinking this lens would work well with it. Yes, unless you have lights in front of your…
