I was surprised by the quality for the price.

I bought to replace the Canon 80d - I got tired of carrying a backpack with me ((. I shoot in raw, the picture is good, neutral natural color reproduction, correct white balance. Raw stretches well, more than enough for amateur shooting. I was pleasantly surprised by the accurate and fast autofocus performance at dusk and when shooting sunsets, after all, only contrast. Menus and buttons can be fully customized. Tons of modes and options. Excellent stabilization: at a shutter speed of 1/30…

Pros
  • Weight and size! Build quality, photo quality for such a matrix size, stabilization system, convenient control.
Cons
  • Weak battery, expensive optics.

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

Took it in December 18th year. After much torment and comparisons, which DSLR to take for myself . I took a mirrorless camera and did not regret it at all. The build quality of the fotik is at its best, this device is pleasant to take in hand. The tilting screen, coupled with the silent shutter, makes you invisible in the crowd and allows you to take amazing shots. A bunch of modes, settings. Convenient location of control ons. Burst speed is just amazing. I often travel as an with a…

Pros
  • - Size and weight. After DSLRs it seems like a toy, and you are afraid to break it) - The photo is excellent even at high iso - Video 4k - image stabilizer
Cons
  • As such, I did not find any obvious shortcomings. The only thing that upsets is the inability to charge from the power bank during the shooting process, you need to turn off the camera

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

Pros below: Shooting quality and compactness 👍 In my opinion the best travel camera 💁‍♂️ Cons: You need to immediately think about buying another lens. Kitovsky is too simple 🤷‍♂️

Great camera and lens combo

I've only been using the camera for a few months but am very impressed so far. IBIS works well and the lens produces very clear images when covered a bit. I've used continuous autofocus with my dog walking around the garden with good results. The camera is compact and solid and the menus are easy to navigate compared to my previous Sony RX100M2. Probably the main limitation of this kit (other than me, the user) is the slower nature of the included lens. This is a great touring lens for good…

Good camera, not a perfect manual.

The camera works very well, the 12-60 lens is pretty sharp (tested on a tripod). The instructions are sometimes a bit unclear and it may take you some time to get familiar with all the possibilities. But if used correctly, the device will not disappoint you. The battery in the camera body seems to have a shorter lifespan than the second battery I bought as a backup. Maybe it can improve with use, but it's only possible. Manual focusing isn't as easy as it could be, even with peaking turned on…

  • Not bad

Gorgeous camera!: photo and photo

Excellent camera! I returned to the Micro 4/3 system after a brief exposure with a high-end pocket camera. It's such a relief to have menus that make sense again! The lens that comes with the kit is actually pretty good. The camera isn't so small that the buttons get in the way. I love that I can set up a personal custom menu page and assign function keys wherever I want. I also like the presence of Bluetooth and the touchscreen. You have full control of the camera with your phone, and syncing…

Cons
  • I won't say anything

Good camera but not compatible with Panasonic Image App and Adobe LR6

The camera takes pictures but has two problems: (1) It cannot connect via Bluetooth with the Panasonic Image App on the iPhone. The Bluetooth pairing seems to start fine, then it also wants to do the WiFi setup, it connects but both devices spin for a long time before giving up and the setup fails. So there is no transfer of time, geotagging etc. GX9 Firmware (v1.4) and Panasonic Image App (v1.10.14) are the latest versions which should work together but don't work. You can only get Wi-Fi to…

  • Security

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

Switched to this unit from a full-frame Canon EOS 5D. Filmed on 5D Mark 2.3, Nikon, Olympus, Fuji - there is something to compare. It's not worth trying to compare a micro with a full frame - it has a completely different concept and a different picture. Let's start with the merits. 1. The camera is made exceptionally well - it's nice to take it in your hands. With ergonomics, too, everything is in order. The controls are logical and convenient, there are many physical controls - this is a…

Pros
  • Good detailing of photos even with a whale 12-32mm, but the camera is fully revealed with professional-level optics - in addition to sharpness, light and color appear. Lots of features and settings. Built-in stabilization. Workmanship - does not look cheap plastic. Compact enough - with a 14 / 2.5 type pancake lens, it fits easily into a jacket pocket.
Cons
  • Weak battery. Noise at high ISO (although, depending on what to compare). Autofocus weakens in dark and flickering light. Artifacts around small items in Jpeg. Tends to moiré when shooting fine rhythmic textures. When shooting video in 4K, the picture is noticeably cropped at the edges.

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

I think in 2022 or even a couple more years, it is quite interesting to buy as a good camera for travel and for general tasks. Panasonic generally tend to longevity in the market). If the budget is not completely limited, you can look towards the older brother G9, there are several very significant amenities, Mic input, 4K 60p, battery, improved stabilization and 225 focus points versus 49 for the GX9. On the other hand, the price is already different there, which brings it closer to the full…

Pros
  • 1. Micro 4/3. IMHO, at the moment the most balanced standard with a wide selection of lenses, and if you look at the adapters, there is generally an endless field for creativity, if you want higher, then FF, but a little expensive for now, if lower, then a smartphone :), but it’s up to real quality with viewing on the monitor is far away, the model is not important, physics, alas. 2. Compact, but in moderation, it doesn’t feel like a soap box at all, even after a DSLR. 3. Photo quality, remarkable in its class, is no longer needed for home and non-fanatic amateurs. 4. Flexibility and reasonable settings. 5. 4K video quality and stabilization (double with some native lenses). At wide angles, it is quite possible to do without a tripod. 6. Combination of electronic and mechanical shutter. 7. Image application from panasonic for smart, when shooting from a tripod, the thing is indispensable. 8. Very good in comparison with another whale lens (which is 12-32), detailing, compact, quite enough for the first time. 9. Charging from an external battery, useful on the road.
Cons
  • In general, they are voiced, since the camera is not the first year on the market, and they are not so critical, but . 1. There is no input for an external microphone, and when shooting with some lenses, the noise of the focus motor is heard. Solvable, and rather not for everyone, the problem, for example, I do editing more often, and most of it is covered with background music. 2. 4K Video with crop 1.25, if you want to shoot landscapes you need to think about the width, 12/24 (eq) is not always enough, although subjectively. 3. Noise after ISO 400, but this comes from the size of the matrix, in principle, up to 1600 they are pressed relatively easily in post-processing. 4. The price, probably, on the other hand, in Europe in the summer of 2022, I got a whale for 500 euros at a sale, at a price, in principle, even a few hundred higher, there was nothing particularly interesting.
