Great graduation offer

I upgraded from the DMC-GH1 when the price of the GH2 dropped just before graduation and have been very happy with the purchase so far. Similar to the GH1 in many ways, making the transition easier. But overall performance has improved a lot in a number of ways - autofocus in particular seems to have improved a lot. Overall, low-light performance also seems to have improved. Photo quality is pretty good. And while I'm generally happy with the results of my GH1, the GH2 is a step up. My onlyโ€ฆ

Amazing Camera, Best Camera & Photo

This is a great all in one photo/video pack. It feels plasticky and isn't as strong and durable as a DSLR, but at the same time it's very light and compact. It's like a point-and-shoot camera, but with a lot more manual controls. And that's a good thing, because it's ultra-portable. In my opinion the GH 2 is better than the new GH 3 in what I mainly use it for: video. Sure, the GH 3 has a better build, better screen, longer battery life and even better photos with higher ISOs, but Panasonic has

Impressive camera in the camera and photo section

We bought this camera because we take about 50% of the videos and 50% of the photos of our grandchildren's sports. We needed a fast camera with very clear video that would work in low light without a flash. We didn't want to change the lens either. This camera can do it all. It replaces the Sony HS50. So far we've been very impressed. We shot a wedding video in a very dark room, videos and footage of 3 soccer games and 7 lacrosse games. The 14-140mm lens (28-280mm SLR equivalent) is ideal forโ€ฆ

Favorite digital camera.

I don't think I'll ever be able to give a camera five stars, so four stars is nothing short of a fantastic rating for this camera. This is by far my favorite digital camera. I bought two of these, the second when the GH3 was announced and it was significantly larger than the GH2. Its size really sets it apart from any other DSLR. A few newer cameras are starting to approach the size so there's plenty to choose from, but I'm firmly committed to the m4/3 format with about 12 lenses so I don't see

Please with this upgrade from P&S

There are many technical reviews of this camera and this one is not one of them. This review should give me an idea of the transition from Point and Shoot (p&s) to MICRO FourThirds. Although the price is a little under what I bought two weeks ago, I can't belittle the camera in any way, reseller yes, but not the camera. Some of my friends are either photographers or have experience in photography and they helped me choose a camera. Obviously they were intended for DSLRs rather than FourThirdsโ€ฆ
