Please with this upgrade from P&S

There are many technical reviews of this camera and this one is not one of them. This review should give me an idea of the transition from Point and Shoot (p&s) to MICRO FourThirds. Although the price is a little under what I bought two weeks ago, I can't belittle the camera in any way, reseller yes, but not the camera. Some of my friends are either photographers or have experience in photography and they helped me choose a camera. Obviously they were intended for DSLRs rather than FourThirds, but provided useful information. Admittedly, none of them used Micro FourThirds, so I had to take that into account. After months of searching for the best camera for me, I decided on this one. I was pleasantly satisfied. The learning curve is a bit steep, but overall it's worth it. The photos are great and the more I play with the camera the better they get. When I first got it, I had some awkward moments using the aperture and manual mode, so I switched back to iAuto mode. As with most reviews I've read, auto mode images do get soft at times, but it's still the best image I've ever taken with a P&S. I've just started playing with the cinema part of the camera. It's ironic because it was bought primarily for video. That should tell you that this camera will surprise you. I never thought that taking photos would be so much fun. The guide is very weak in detail but covers the basics. Is it the best camera for everyone, no. If everyone would enjoy it (if they're open-minded), I'd say yes. Can I recommend it, definitely. To update. I updated the firmware and set the manual film mode to cinema and 24L recording quality. I recorded 15 minutes of Christmas lights at night and the video turned out great. It reproduced as much detail as the video clips I watched while studying the camera. I didn't get any motion blur when the camera was handheld. It was a great purchase.
