Fixed Click of Death

Replaced a swollen capacitor due to a Click of Death on a Samsung TV. This is my second capacitor that I have replaced, the first replacement took 5 years.

Pros
  • Quality Build
Cons
  • No

Fix your flat screen TV with these capacitors!

Much better than the cheap capacitors Samsung puts in their TVs. At 25V instead of 18V on Samsung TVs and a temperature of 105Β°C, this capacitor can take a lot of abuse.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Great quality and helped me keep my 32 inch HD monitor!

Great quality and I used it on my burnt 32 inch Samsung HD monitor! They came up and fired great. They may even be better than what originally came with the monitor. I replaced the rest just in case since I was already in the monitor.

Pros
  • Nice to use

I fixed the clicks and slow start on a Samsung TV

My ln46a540 took a full 5 minutes to start. The back part came off with no wires. Defective capacitors were easy to spot. I just searched and found matching numbers here. Desoldering would have been easier with a solder vacuum, but I managed with a copper wick. Just make sure you leave the TV unplugged for a few days to allow the high-power capacitors to dissipate. Find a YouTube video and you can do it.

Pros
  • . Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some problems

My TV is fixed! on Car Electronics Accessories

It was pretty obvious that two of the capacitors in my Samsung TV had swollen, resulting in annoying 5 minute power cycles before the TV finally turned on. I was a little nervous about removing the blown ones and installing new ones (I'm not a STRONG soldering iron), but it all went without a hitch. The delivery was a day earlier than expected and the replacement of the capacitors, well they work. The woman will be very happy!

Replacement parts for cycling/clicking when turned on

My old 2008 Samsung TV (LN52A530P1FXZA) started to cyclically click when turned on. If you look online, this is a common problem caused by these capacitors failing. From what I can see these are interchangeable replacement parts, same shape and size. This is very easy to fix, but only if you have PCB soldering experience. I hope that the new parts will last as long as the original parts. The photo shows old parts, they are cracked and flow from above.

Pros
  • Capacitors
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models
