No wonder this camera only has a 90 day guarantee! If it takes that long, it's a miracle. Just a few weeks after our 3 months was up, the camera stopped working. It won't turn on! It doesn't charge! Basically it's dead in the box. Panasonic will happily repair the camera for $90. That's right - after it dies in less than 6 months they will happily charge you an additional $90 to FIX something that was probably wrong when it was made! I love the camera. The HD quality is amazing. The learning curve was minimal as all the options are very easy to use. The key layout avoids using the wrong key at the wrong time. I've already used many features that I haven't used on other cameras because it's too difficult to remember how to access them on the fly (all of which can be found in scenes on the Panasonic).
