Papertracer is a great tool for creating PDFs. It's easy to use, and it works very well.

I used to work for another vendor before I found PaperTracer. The product itself is awesome, and it does exactly what it claims. But the UI was pretty horrible (and still is). You have to understand a lot of programming concepts to get anything useful done with it. I'm not a programmer, so that made me sad. In the end, I decided to move on to something else because I couldn't stand having to fight the interface every step of the way. And if you don't know how to program, it's even worse! But…

Pros
  • Very powerful, very easy to use and very quick
  • It has many features that allow the analyst to do things that are normally impossible using traditional means.
  • Has a simple but powerful UI
Cons
  • Limited number of pre-built functions
  • Cannot create own models or add custom variables to build new models
