I used this to add an extension over the fence by tying it to the trees and then adding zig zag patterns over the fence. Bought for a trip to bear country. Recently I did this on a 4 day 3 day river crossing. We wrapped the rope around the rock and swung it back and forth, throwing it 15 to 25 feet over the branches of the trees.
